Skin and aesthetics clinic, Bath

Skin care, in good light.

An unhurried clinic for skin, face, body and rest. Every plan starts with a conversation, and a consultation decides what is right for you.

01 / The idea

We built Clerestory around a simple idea: see skin clearly, explain things plainly and never rush a decision. Nothing is sold on a first visit, and if a treatment is not right for you, we will say so.

02 / The rooms

Limestone, oak and daylight from above.

04 / Your appointment

An appointment, in four parts.

The same shape every time, whether you are here for a facial, a peel or an hour of quiet.

  1. Two linen armchairs angled together in the consultation room

    Part 01

    Consultation

A seated conversation and a close look at your skin in daylight. We ask about your routine, your health and what you are hoping for, then talk plainly about what may and may not suit you.

  2. A steel tray of brushes, bowls and cotton rounds on pale oak

    Part 02

    Preparation

Rooms are set before you arrive: fresh linen, single-use tools opened in front of you, products chosen for your skin on the day rather than from a script.

  3. The head of a treatment bed with a folded linen blanket and a nickel lamp

    Part 03

    Treatment

Nothing is rushed and nothing is a surprise. Your practitioner explains each stage as it happens, and you can ask to pause at any point.

  4. Folded linen towels on an oak shelf with a sprig of olive

    Part 04

    Aftercare

You leave with a written note of what was used and what to do next, and a direct line to the clinic if anything feels unexpected.

05 / Light study

The same room, morning and evening.

Skin is assessed in daylight, so morning rooms are kept bright and clear. After dark, the lamps come down low for massage and rest. Drag across the photograph to see the change.

A study of room light only. Never a treatment result.

Evening: the same treatment room in cool morning daylight and warm evening lamplight

07 / How we work

Four things we always do.

  1. 01

    Consult before we treat

Anything beyond a facial or a massage starts with a conversation. It is where suitability is decided, not a formality.

  2. 02

    Tell you when to wait

If timing, medication or your skin on the day means a treatment should wait, we will say so and rebook without a fee.

  3. 03

    Write it down

You leave with a note of what was used and what to do next, so nothing depends on remembering a conversation.

  4. 04

    Keep prices visible

From-prices are published. Your exact price is confirmed at consultation, before anything is booked.

08 / Not sure where to begin?

Five questions, one starting point.

A short, private quiz that suggests where to start. It is not a diagnosis and it never replaces a consultation. Nothing you choose leaves this page.

09 / The practitioners

Four people, no hurry.

A small team who know the diary, the rooms and your notes. Names and roles on this demonstration site are fictional.

  • A practitioner in a sage tunic walking away down a reeded glass corridor

    Esme Harcourt

    Clinic lead and skin therapist

  • A practitioner writing by hand in a blank notebook at an oak desk

    Nadia Okafor-Lyle

    Aesthetic practitioner

  • A practitioner seen from behind smoothing linen over a treatment bed

10 / Questions

Before you book.

If your question is not here, call the clinic. A person answers during opening hours.

01Do I need a consultation first?

For facials and massage, no. For microneedling, peels and laser hair reduction, yes: a separate consultation decides whether a treatment suits you before it is ever booked.

02Do you offer injectable treatments?

No. Clerestory focuses on skin, body and wellness treatments, and we are happy to explain the difference at a consultation.

03Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. Consultations have room for a second chair, and there is a quiet waiting area by reception for longer appointments.

04What if I need to cancel?

Let us know two days ahead and there is nothing to pay. Life happens, so call us if it is shorter notice and we will be reasonable.
