01 / What it is

The Clerestory Facial is the gentlest place to start with us. It moves through a double cleanse, a light exfoliation, warm steam, extractions only where they are needed, a mask and an unhurried facial massage.

Nothing is fixed in advance. Your practitioner looks at your skin under the lamp first, asks about your routine, and chooses products in the room, so no two appointments run in exactly the same order.

02 / Who it may suit

Who it may suit, and when to wait.

A guide, not a decision. Your practitioner confirms suitability at consultation, and may suggest a different treatment or a different time.

May suit

  • People who want a thorough facial without a sales conversation attached.
  • Anyone new to clinic treatments who would like to begin gently.
  • Those preparing skin ahead of an occasion, booked a few days before rather than the same morning.

We may suggest waiting

  • If skin is broken, sunburnt or has an active infection, we will suggest rebooking.
  • If you have recently had a peel, laser or microneedling, tell us, and we will talk timing through.

03 / Your appointment

What happens, in order.

  1. 01

    Arrive and settle

A glass of water, a short form and a few quiet minutes before anything begins.

  2. 02

    A look under the lamp

Your practitioner examines your skin in good light and asks about your current routine.

  3. 03

    The facial

Cleanse, exfoliation, steam, a mask and massage, paced so that it never feels rushed.

  4. 04

    Before you go

A written note of what was used and what to do for the next day or two.

Study

Two textures, chosen on the day.

Some skin wants a light gel, some a richer balm. Drag across to compare the two textures we reach for most. This shows product texture only, never a treatment result.

04 / Aftercare

The next few days.

You also leave with this written down. If anything feels unexpected, call the clinic.

  1. 01

Keep the first evening simple: a gentle cleanser and a plain moisturiser.

  2. 02

Hold off on exfoliating acids and retinoids for a couple of days, or as your practitioner advises.

  3. 03

Wear a broad spectrum sunscreen each morning.

  4. 04

If anything feels uncomfortable or unexpected, call the clinic and speak to us.

05 / Questions

Asked often.

01Will my skin look red afterwards?

Some people have mild pinkness for a short while, particularly after extractions. Your practitioner will tell you what to expect for your skin before you leave.

02Can I wear make-up afterwards?

Where you can, leave skin bare for the rest of the day. If you have plans, mention them when you book and we will adjust the order of the appointment.

03How often should I book?

There is no fixed rule. Your practitioner may suggest a rhythm that suits your skin and your diary, and you are welcome to choose your own.
